GOP crushes anti-Trump band of delegates

GOP officials crushed an attempt to change the Republican party rules on the first day of the National Convention. CNN is calling it a highly unusual show of disunity and anger. A group of state delegates tried to force a state-by-state roll call vote on the rules of the convention to show opposition to Donald Trump. Arkansas Congressman Steve Womack was blindsided when he called for the conventioners to approve the rules, then quickly called for a yay/or/nay vote and declared the rules passed by a voice vote. The Colorado delegation walked out of the hall. Trump will be nominated tomorrow.
