Paulding council rejects Mayor’s choice for new village administrator

The village of Paulding is still in need of a village administrator, that’s according to Mayor Greg Reinhart. He presented his recommendation for the position to council during its meeting on Monday. Reinhart asked council to hire James Brown as the village administrator. Brown has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Wisconsin and has served as a village administrator for Edgerton. Councilman Tim Boss made the motion to hire Brown for the position, but no second was received. That’s when the Mayor said he would bring his second choice before council at a future meeting.
