Columbus newspaper sues Pike County Coroner for Rhoden family autopsies

The Columbus Dispatch has filed a lawsuit against the Pike County coroner for not turning over final autopsy records in the Rhoden family killing. The Dispatch believes that Pike County, at the direction of the Ohio Attorney General, are violating the law by refusing to release the documents. The Dispatch says the reports are of great public interest and should be released. Pike County officials say the records are part of a homicide investigation and are confidential law enforcement records. Eight members of the Rhoden family were found slain on April 22. No one has been arrested in their deaths.
