Defiance Police investigating reports of shots fired near the Defiance College campus

Defiance Police are investigating reports of shots fired by North Clinton and Hilton near the Defiance College campus. College officials say the campus was on a precautionary lockdown on Monday with no reports of an active shooter. Defiance Police say there are no reports of injuries at this time. Officials say a white male suspect with dark hair and gray shorts fled the area where the shots were fired. Police are asking anyone with knowledge about this incident to call Defiance Police.
