Defiance man was sentenced to prison on robbery charge

A Defiance man was sentenced to prison in Defiance County Common Pleas Court on a robbery charge. 30 year old Joshua Love of Elbert St., was given a four-year term by Judge Joseph Schmenk on a charge of aggravated robbery. The court also reserved jurisdiction over the restitution amount, according to Prosecutor Morris Murray.Charges of vandalism and assault, were dismissed. Love threatened a male victim in the 600 block of North Clinton Street on June 30 with a loaded gun while demanding money. He also had been charged with causing damage to a residence and assaulting a male.
