Fulton County Sheriff Roy Miller recently released results from a traffic enforcement blitz that was conducted Aug. 19 through Sept. 5 in conjunction with the Drive Sober of Get Pulled Over campaign. Deputies that worked this blitz made 78 traffic stops and issued 26 citations. The citations issued were for 19 speed violations, four driving under a revoked or suspended driver’s license, no driver’s license, improper passing and an expired license plate registration. Deputies also issued 66 warnings during the blitz. The blitzes are paid for from a grant that the sheriff’s office received from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
