Ohio finds itself a coveted prize in a presidential election

No president has ever been elected without carrying the Buckeye State and once again, swing-state Ohio finds itself a coveted prize in a presidential election. That sense of democratic importance may be one of the reasons credit check and credit report website WalletHub found Ohio to have the second most accurately representative group of voters in the nation. What that means is that Ohio has strong voter turnout in demographic groups relative to the proportion of those groups in the general population. Factors in the survey included race, gender, age and income level. According to WalletHub, Ohio’s voters are 90.93 percent representative of its demographics, second only to Virginia’s 92.51 percent.
