Authorities in Williams County arrest suspect in car thefts

Authorities in Williams County may have a break in a resent string of car thefts in northwest Ohio, specifically in the Montpelier are. The Montpelier Police Department was called to the area of Lafayette Street and Jefferson Street for an individual that was reported looking into cars. According to a news release, a male subject was detained and then arrested. The subject was interviewed regarding various vehicle thefts in the Montpelier area. James A. Powers was subsequently charged with felony theft and incarcerated at Community Correction of Northwest Ohio.
