Steuben County Sheriff’s Department apprehends motorcycle thief

Deputies from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office were called to the area of the 8200 block of W 350 N on a 911 call of a burglary early Saturday morning. Steuben County Sheriff’s Department report that a motorcycle had just been taken from a garage and was last known to be eastbound from the scene. Deputies searched area for the motorcycle and a car that was also reportedly involved. Deputies continued to search the area when a male subject was found in the 4100 N block of CR 800 W walking. The male matched the description given by witnesses, identified as 20 year old Thomas P. Crago, Jr. of Syracuse, Indiana. Crago was arrested and booked into the Steuben County Jail on charges of burglary and auto theft. The car seen leaving the area was also located in a nearby field, which belong to Crago.
