Defiance woman facing at least two charges following multiple crashes on Oct. 17

A Defiance woman is facing at least two charges following multiple crashes on Oct. 17. The incident ended with her vehicle crashing into Defiance’s Citizens National Bank on E. Second St. 31 year old Jessica Davilla of Sherwood Drive, appeared Wednesday morning in Defiance Municipal Court on charges of failure to comply with a police officer and OVI. Additional charges are pending. An arraignment was set for 8:15 a.m. Friday. Her bond was set at $100,000. Davilla allegedly struck vehicles of two area residents and two Defiance Police Department cruisers before fleeing officers, crossing four lanes of traffic on East Second Street, and eventually crashing into a pillar at the front door of the bank.
