Defiance County man has been charged with rape

A Defiance County man has been charged with rape after an alleged incident at his residence Saturday morning. 36 year old Clint Krill, 36 of The Bend Road in Sherwood, was arrested by the Defiance County Sheriff’s Office and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker. According to Chief Deputy Doug Engel, the incident occurred Saturday at Krill’s residence and involved an adult female. The female left the home and fled to a neighbor’s residence, where a call was placed to emergency personnel. The victim was taken by Delaware Township EMS to ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital for treatment. Krill appeared in Defiance Municipal Court on Monday and was scheduled for a continued arraignment Wednesday morning. His bond was set at $500,000.
