Bryan Municipal Utilities prepping downtown square for Christmas lights

Count it down, everyone…it is now 37 until Christmas and earlier this week teamwork was the theme as workers from Bryan Municipal Utilities re-attached the Christmas lights cable between the courthouse and buildings on the east side of the downtown square. The cable was detached earlier this year to make way for the industrial crane parked at the east side courthouse entrance as part of the courthouse re-roofing and tower renovation project. The good news is that the crane, owned by E. Lee Construction, of Delphos, the general contractor on the $1.55 million project, was removed last week. Company owner Bob Lee said Wednesday the project is basically complete.
