Rash of theft and breaking-and-entering incidents in Bryan and West Unity

A rash of theft and breaking-and-entering incidents occurred over the past few days in Bryan and West Unity. Authorities report the first call was a reported larceny around 9 a.m. Thursday, at Tractor Supply Company on S. Main St., in Bryan. A store employee said Friday that the perpetrator “got away with a lot of stuff,” but was unable to provide more specific details. A second incident in Bryan was reported shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday at Chief Supermarket on S. Main St. A Chief manager who was on duty at the time said he had no recollection of any incident. The third larceny in Bryan was reported at Tri-State Swap Shop, 1027 W. High St., at 4:28 p.m. Thursday. According to Owner Corey Haury, a man and woman about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds with half of her head shaved and longer hair on top, entered the establishment and stole a ring valued at around $100.
