Crystal Sproles, 55 years, of Bryan, and formerly of Ney, Ohio, passed away in her home with her family at her side. She was born November 11, 1961 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of the late Forrest and Dorothy Jean (McDaniel) Hueppelsheuser. She attended Fairview High School. Crystal married Donald L. Sproles on December 30, 1978 in Bryan, and he survives. A devoted wife and mother, Crystal cared for the needs of her family. After the kids were in school, she worked as a cashier at Kmart. After this she was a machine operator for BDJ in West Unity and Techmation in Montpelier. She was a member of the Bryan Eagles. Crystal enjoyed reading, collecting bells, owls and wolves, fishing, riding motorcycle and taking trips with her husband, Don.
In addition to her husband Don, Crystal is survived by her two daughters, Shanna (Jarrod) Collins of Montpelier and Angel (Rick) Sproles of Antwerp; seven grandchildren, Jenna, Erica and Carly Collins; Aubree, Hunter, Lucas and Allison Sproles; two brothers, Dennis McDaniels of Cecil and Don (Judy) Hueppelsheuser of Crocker, Missouri; one sister Jewell (John) Rickels of Paulding. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Caleb Collins and one brother Roy Hueppelsheuser.
Visitation for Crystal Sproles will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home-Lynn Street Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 with Paul Collins Sr, officiating. Interment will follow in Ney Cemetery.
