Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted on Thursday certified the official results of the Nov. 8 presidential general election. In total, a voter turnout rate of 71.33 percent was realized in Ohio. State results were slightly higher than in Williams County, where 70.64 percent turned out Nov. 8. More Ohioans cast an absentee ballot than in any election in Ohio history. In Williams County, 4,455 absentee ballots were cast. That comprised 25 percent of the total vote in the county.
