U.S. Postal Service said it expects to deliver 750 million packages this holiday season

The U.S. Postal Service said it expects to deliver 750 million packages this holiday season, or 5 million packages per day, up 12 percent from the roughly 670 million packages it delivered last year in November and December. Overall, the Postal Service projects it will deliver about 16 billion pieces of mail over the six-week holiday season. Consumers can help the post office along. Among some of the advice from Mandy Neidhardt, who’s serving as the officer in charge of the Bryan Post Office, is to make sure you have correctly packaged the goods to be sent, the correct address including the right apartment number if there is one, and a complete and accurate zip code.
