Henry County Sheriff’s Office warning residents of a scam artist working the area

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several reports of a scam by a male identifying himself as Donald Holden. The man is asking for money for various reasons, including a Columbus car accident involving his daughter. According to law enforcement, he may be driving an older, maroon or red vehicle with rust. There are several warrants for his arrest, and additional charges are expected. Scam reports have been concentrated in the rural Malinta and southern Napoleon areas. Residents are advised not to give him money, and instead call the sheriff’s office at 419-592-8010.
