87 low- or no-interest single-family residential loans approved in Williams County

The United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program approved The United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program approved 87 low- or no-interest single-family residential housing loans in Williams County in 2015, and it appears they will be on that pace for a similar number this year. Vince Paumier, the USDA’s community development specialist for rural development in Ohio, said last week the agency’s goal is to double that number and help twice as many Williams County residents in 2017. Paumier referred to Williams County as one of Ohio’s undeserved counties.
