German Township and the village of Archbold reach agreement on services

A dispute among neighbors in Fulton County’s German Township took a huge step toward a resolution on Monday. German Township covers the southwest corner of Fulton County and the village of Archbold and its surrounding areas. For months, the discussions of fire apparatuses and services seemed to create a divide too wide to bridge for the officials of German Township and the village of Archbold. On Monday, the two sides met again in a public forum. And with dozens of citizens in attendance, the basic outlines for a contract were agreed upon.
