Weekend home invasion leads to one arrest

A weekend home invasion has lead to one arrest. Steuben County Communications received a 911 call that a home invasion was occurring at a residence located in the 900 block of Nicholas Trail in Fremont just before 9 p.m. Saturday night. The Fremont Police Department responded, along with officers from multiple other agencies to assist. Arrested was 47 year old Clarence J. Hoskins Jr. Hoskins is facing multiple charges of burglary, armed robbery, battery and possession of drug paraphernalia.
