Recent Fayette High School graduate, 18 year old Noelle Goodson, entered the Stand and Be Heard Anthem Singing Contest in May, in which each of the contestants sings the national anthem. Now, The Bryan Times reports that to move forward in the competition, Noelle must be in the top 20 nationwide.
If she can make it into the top three, she will win a $5,000 college scholarship, all expenses paid trip to Nashville, a professional recording session, and a performance on national television. She could even win a $10,000 scholarship.
