Ohio State Highway Patrol Investigates Fatal Crash on the Ohio Turnpike.

The Swanton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle double fatal crash that occurred on November 23, 2024 at approximately 0:12A.M. The crash occurred on the Ohio Turnpike at milepost 26 eastbound in Franklin Township, Fulton County.
A semi, operated by 46 year old Ronald Dempsey, of Savannah, Georgia, was eastbound on I-80. Another semi, driven by 45 year old Jean Moise, of Miami, Florida, was westbound  on I-80 with a passenger, 59 year old Wilson Jeune, of Indianapolis, Indiana. Moise crossed the median and struck Dempsey head on. Both semis traveled off the south side of I-80.
Wilson Jeune was pronounced deceased on scene. Ronald Dempsey was transported by Mercy
Health Life Flight to The University of Toledo Medical center where he was pronounced
deceased. Jean Moise was not injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
