Toledo man extradited from Indiana to face murder charges

A Toledo man, who allegedly shot and killed the mother of his 10-month-old son and abducted the boy, was detained in Indiana and has since been returned to northwest Ohio for arraignment. 27 year old James Ramey, of Toledo, appeared before a judge in Fulton County, Ind., and waived his right to an extradition hearing on Wednesday. His bond was set at $1 million. Ramey was returned to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio awaiting an appearance in Fulton County Eastern District Court where he will be charged with aggravated murder in connection with the Tuesday shooting death of 23-year-old Amanda Mangas. Ramey also left the Delta home with his 10-month-old child, Winston Ramey, and Mangas’ stepmother, Deborah Mangas.
