New details about the Jimmerson Lake Structure fire from Sunday night

New details about the Jimmerson Lake Structure fire from Sunday night. The call to 15 Lane, 101 A Jimmerson Lake came just after 9:30 p.m. Tyler Frye and Tyler Steffel were driving by when they noticed fire coming from a mobile home and the homeowner, Deborah Smith, climbing out of the bedroom window. The two boys realized that there was another occupant inside and broke the window in the bedroom of Gregg Clifton in order to pull him out. A witness described the two young men, Frye and Steffel, as being “brave”, adding that “things went up so fast, if they hadn’t been there, it could have ended up much worse”. While there were no injuries to the occupants, the structure was a total loss. The fire was ruled accidental and was caused by the improper disposal of smoking materials.
