Gas prices in and around Williams County seem to be holding steady over the last week. Several gas stations in the area are selling regular grade for 2.28 a gallon. The lowest price for regular in Ohio is over in Brookpark, near Cleveland were gas is selling for 1.97 at several outlets. The current national average according to auto club AAA is 2.33 a gallon with diesel selling for an average price of 2.50. We could be seeing a rise in gas prices down the road as oil prices surged more than 3 percent on Monday after Saudi Arabia and Russia agreed to extend production cuts into 2018.
