In a special executive session Thursday afternoon, Bryan City Council authorized Fire Chief Bruce Siders to schedule an upcoming civil service test for firefighters. A second executive session to set a date for the test and to take care of other details is set for 9:30 a.m. June 1, according to Bryan Mayor Doug Johnson.
