Multi county garage sale planned for June 8 – 10

Garage sale junkies…listen up…a local couple has planned a 30-mile garage sale running along Ohio 424 from Waterville, in Lucas County, to Florida, on the western edge of Henry County. The event is set for June 8-10 and will include the towns of Florida, Napoleon, Liberty Center, Texas, Grand Rapids and Waterville, as well as houses along the route. Rodger Hefflinger, who organized the event with his wife, Cathy, said though they didn’t plan it, the 424 yard sales will coincide with community garage sales in Napoleon and Waterville. Signs will be up along the route to help direct customers. Rodger added he hopes to extend it to Defiance and possibly beyond in the future.
