Thirty-five more county Republican party chairs and vice chairs endorsing Husted for governor

The Williams County Republican Party was the first to endorse Montpelier native Jon Husted for governor and that support is picking up steam. Thirty-five more county Republican party chairs and vice chairs have endorsed Husted in the 2018 gubernatorial election, according to campaign spokesman Joshua Eck. The other 35 are personal commitments, not full county endorsements. The Williams County Republican Party announced its endorsement on May 8. Eck also stated Husted has also received the endorsement of Ohioans for Concealed Carry, making him the first candidate to be endorsed by a statewide organization in the 2018 gubernatorial election.
