An Ohio state trooper is injured after a pursuit this morning on northbound I-75 in North Toledo. The chase started on Highway 23 in Michigan, where the suspect failed to stop for police. He continued into Ohio, and police picked up the chase near the 75/475 split. Then, the driver parked his vehicle in the northbound lanes of 75 near the Stickney interchange and fled on foot. A state trooper chased him, and they both fell from the bridge from I-75 to Stickney. Both are in the hospital, but are expected to be okay. The suspect is in custody while under care.
