Defiance County deputies and the FBI reopen a cold case over an unidentified infant left almost 23 years ago at Riverview Memory Gardens just east of Defiance. Baby Doe was found at the cemetery in October of 1994 inside a dry cleaner bag. An autopsy at the time could not determine a cause of death. Authorities have now exhumed the baby’s body to take a DNA sample. The FBI will use the sample to determine if there may be a match with another person.
