The Bryan Board of Public Affairs approve changes to Bryan Municipal Utilities’ electric rates that officials say will bring more stability to customers, while keeping total monthly bills about the same. Utilities Director, Kevin Maynard presented the three-year plan and described the changes as “overall revenue neutral,” meaning BMU doesn’t stand to gain any additional revenue from the changes. Most customers will pay more per kilowatt-hour of electric use, but less per month in power supply cost adjustments.
