Montpelier gets a loan from the Ohio EPA to continue separating the village’s wastewater and storm sewers, a continuing project that will eliminate combined sewer overflows by the end of 2026. Montpelier’s project is one of 25 statewide that received funding in July, totaling $475 million. The latest phase of the project will construct new sanitary sewers and convert existing combined sewer lines into storm water lines.
