Wilma Jean Lemons, age 87, passed away peacefully at Fulton Manor in Wauseon on August 24, 2017 after a brief illness with cancer and while in the care of Hospice. Wilma was born February 14, 1930 in Ashland, Ohio to the late Raymond and Frances Hinkle (Frances Hinkle Miller and step father Russel Miller).
She is survived by loving husband of 70 years Carlton (Lem) Lemons, son Timothy (Cindy) Lemons, daughter in law Monika Liepmann (Tod) Lemons, granddaughter Sheri (Troy) Rychener and great grandchildren Taylor, Caleb and Sam Rychener, and sister in law Charlene (Bill) Young, and many devoted friends.
She was preceded in death by daughter Angie, son Tod, and grandson Paul and looked forward to being able to celebrate her reunion with them in Heaven.
Wilma was a member of Pettisville Missionary Church and was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, always remaining steadfast in her Christian belief. She had a heart for helping people and while she was physically able, especially enjoyed working with the special needs individuals in the Sunshine Class at her church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Private burial will be held for the family. Memorial service will follow; arrangements are pending.
