A storm late Saturday afternoon, damaged several homes and businesses, and left thousands without power.
Toledo Edison reported 1,864 customers without power Saturday night. The majority of those without power — 1,732 — were in Defiance.
Other outages were reported in Delaware, Defiance, Noble, Highland and Richland townships.
Several families went to shelters provided by the American Red Cross after trees fell onto their homes.
The National Weather Service says wind gusts up to 60 mph and pea and dime-sized hail were reported.
Downed trees were reported in many areas.
