A Toledo woman is sentenced in the death of a Northwood woman. Carrie Buckenmeyer pled guilty in a Fulton County courtroom to aggravated vehicular homicide. She was sentenced to five years of community control and 180 days at the Corrections Center, in Stryker. On Aug. 4, 2016, Buckenmeyer was eastbound on U.S. 20, west of Ohio 108, colliding head-on with a vehicle driven by Norma Holguin, of Toledo. Holguin was seriously injured and her passenger, Joann Adamson, of Northwood, was killed in the crash.
