Power is restored in Coldwater after a 24 hour blackout. Officials say poles from a high voltage transmission line were brought down during the storm and heavy winds over the weekend. Response teams with the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities worked to maintain water and wastewater services in the city until power was restored. Several thousand Consumers Energy customers in the southern part of Branch County were still out when the power came back on in Coldwater. All power in the area was restored a few hours later.
