On Monday, Defiance College launched a student-led initiative, Project Pink, partnering with Susan G. Komen of Northwest Ohio. Project Pink aims to bring breast cancer awareness to both the Defiance College community and the local surrounding communities by hosting fundraisers and awareness activities throughout the 2017 academic year. To launch those efforts, Project Pink is hosting the Pink King and Queen fundraising events at DC. The two students who raise the most money for Komen Northwest Ohio will win the king and queen titles in the spring semester.
