With Halloween over at midnight, it will begin to look a lot like Christmas soon on courthouse square in downtown Bryan. First comes Santa’s house, which will be set up temporarily on West High Street on the square’s north side on Wednesday. Once Bryan Municipal Utilities workers set up electric service, Santa’s house will be moved to its seasonal location on the north side courthouse lawn. Sunday is the annual Christmas decorating blitz day, when the Christmas committee and volunteers set up Christmas trees in the fountain and on the bandstand, hang decorative lights and install the figurines.
