A traffic-stop on I-80 in Wood County turns into a drug and weapons bust for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers pulled over 23-year-old, Dennis Alexander, of Leetsdale, Pennsylvania for an improper lane change. During the stop, troopers could smell burnt marijuana coming from the car which caused a probable search…they find a loaded handgun, multiple fraudulent credit cards and a label maker. Then, when Alexander is taken into the patrol car, he tries to hide several hundred prescription pills, with a street value of $3,425. Alexander is charged with a litany of offenses. His passenger, 26-year-old Trevor Kitchen of Michigan, was also charged with possession of criminal tools, forgery and receiving stolen property. Both were taken to the Wood County jail.
