An area man dies in a crash in Holgate. Dakota Delgado was southbound on North Wilhelm Street when he tried to go around lowered crossing gates at a railroad junction. Delgado’s vehicle was struck by a westbound CSX train, traveling on the north tracks. Delgado was pronounced dead at the scene by Henry County Coroner, Melinda Fritz. Alcohol is considered a contributing factor in the accident.
