The area jobs market continues to improve. Williams County’s unemployment rate dropped to 3.7 percent during November, down from 4 percent in October. An estimated 18,200 of 18,900 available workers in Williams County were employed last month, that’s according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Fulton County’s rate was also 3.7 percent for November. Defiance County’s rate dropped to 4 percent last month…it was 4.3 in November 2016. Henry County is at 3.8. Area analysts believe the upcoming tax cuts are going to create even better numbers.
