Semi Crash On 249

A Michigan man is injured in a semi crash, near Hicksville. Michael Balent, of Tecumseh, was taken from the scene by air ambulance to Parkview Memorial in Fort Wayne, with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators say Balent was eastbound on Ohio 249, east of the Ohio-Indiana state line and left the roadway on a curve. The semi hit a ditch and utility pole before rolling onto its top. Balent had to be cut out from the cab. The semi was heavily damaged. Ohio 249 was closed for a time.
