The Ohio State Highway Patrol joined forces with members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on speed, safety belt and DUI enforcement in recent days. The high-visibility enforcement effort included the Michigan State Police, Kentucky State Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. During the enforcement initiative, OSHP issued 509 speed citations, 40 safety belt citations, made seven DUI arrests with no fatal crashes reported.
