A high speed pursuit in Montpelier. Melvin Berry called 911 to report somebody was chasing him. A Williams County deputy found Berry waiting in his car at the Valero on W. Main St. The pursuit was on. It continued through the streets of Montpelier for some time before he was finally brought in. Officers told reporters Berry has a history…including two armed stand-offs and a probate order for a psychiatric evaluation.
