BLOOD DRIVE IN DEFIANCE

The Defi­ance County Chap­ter of the Amer­i­can Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Wednes­day, Aug. 26, from 2–7 p.m. at the Fam­ily Chris­t­ian Cen­ter on E. Sec­ond St., Defi­ance. To sched­ule an appoint­ment, call 800-RED-CROSS. There is a short­age of blood with all types of blood needed. The high­est blood type in demand is Type O because it can be used to trans­fuse peo­ple with other blood types.
