The Indiana Department of Transportation said on Tuesday, that the intersection of Indiana 1 and Metz Road in Steuben County will become a four-way stop effective Thursday, weather permitting.
Stop signs, stop bars and “Stop Sign Ahead” signs will be placed at all approaches to the intersection.
The statement, released late yesterday, said the changes are a result of an INDOT traffic study that reviewed traffic patterns and the crash history at the intersection.
