Charges stemming from road rage incident that began in Sherwood.

Two persons charged Saturday afternoon in what the Defiance County Sheriff’s Office described as a “road rage” incident that began in Sherwood were arraigned Monday in Defiance Municipal Court. Travis Hug, 36, 20100 Buckskin Road, pleaded not guilty to failure to comply with the order of signal of a police officer and two counts of assault, each a first-degree misdemeanor, and the charges were scheduled for a pretrial hearing on May 21. He was given a personal-recognizance bond.
