Area Woman Dies In Toll Road Crash

A Stryker woman dies behind the wheel. First responders were dispatched to the 115 mile marker on the Toll Road in LaGrange County. Both directions of the roadway were closed for a time as crews cleared the crash scene. Investigators say Marie Besancon was driving west when she went across the center median and into the eastbound lanes, smashing into another car. Besancon was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the other car were taken to a hospital for treatment. An investigation is underway.
