VEHICLE WITH DOGS HITS PILLARS IN DEFIANCE

A vehi­cle dam­aged one of the new gate­way pil­lars at Pon­tiac Park in Defi­ance Tues­day morn­ing when it rolled down the hill.

Defi­ance Police say just after 3:30am, a vehi­cle owned by Kathy Miller of Web­ster St., which was parked at Cir­cle K, rolled down the incline of the park­ing lot, crossed East River Drive, and slammed into a gate­way pil­lar and city sign.

Dam­age was heavy to the vehi­cle and the pil­lar. Two dogs were inside the vehi­cle, but they were report­edly uninjured.
