The Henry County commissioners have hired a deputy dog warden.
Commissioners hired Guy Miller to fill the position. Miller’s new duties begin effective Oct. 15. Miller will be placed on a 120-day probationary period and will receive $10 per hour.
In other business this week, Henry County Commissioners approved a petition filed by solicitor James Rode for 3.241 acres to be annexed from Bartlow Township into the village of Deshler. The property is owned by the village.
